Bake-Along #25 : Bake-Along 1st Anniversary Layer Cake

May 29th marks the 1st anniversary of Bake Along.  Happy Birthday! This blog hop is jointly hosted by Joyce of Kitchen Flavours, Lena of Frozen Wings and Zoe of Bake for Happy Kids.  The three of them are talented home bakers and I must say that I learn  a lot from them, a big cyber hugs, thank you my baking buddies.

A New York Cheesecake for you all on your 1st anniversary.

Click here for the recipe and here for the marble effect.   I used Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.   If you do not mind a rich and creamy cheesecake, this is one that you can try, yummy!

  1. That’s a great idea replacing sour cream with Greek yogurt! Some Greek yogurt are actually quite low in their fat content and wonder if the low fat ones will affect the taste and texture of this cake 😀

  2. let me give you a hug first, **HUG**. Thanks for the nice words and support given to us, i’m very glad to know you and learning as we go and bake along. I see a perfect cheesecake up there! I wish that i am one of the recipients of your cake! thanks again for baking along!! Cheers!

  3. Hi Eileen,
Wow, your cake looks so rich and so delicious! I have never tried baking with Greek yoghurt before, must be really creamy and smooth! It has been quite a while since I last eaten any Cheesecake, and so craving for some right now!
Thank you for joining our Anniversary Bake-Along and your lovely words! We all learn from each other, mistakes and successes thru our trials and errors, and we are still learning! Glad to have you baking with us!
